stellium: void of course

Stellium: Void of Course is a 24-page comic that takes place a few years before the events of Stellium and acts as a glimpse into Linden’s mind during his initial awakening as an Evigilari.

He struggles to come to terms with this departure from human identity and forced acceptance of a new reality as a cryptid from a world called the Antiscion. Linden FΓΆrstner had never felt a sense of belonging in the human world, having wrestled with years of substance abuse, mental illness, and ostracization. However, he’s found no sense of belonging in this cryptid species either. Thus, he finds himself lost in a liminal space between two realities and two equally monstrous identities.

Linden’s brother, Dave, fell in easily with the norms of being an Evigilari. Despite his cruel methods, Dave cares about his brother and attempts to force Linden to accept this change of fate. As Linden struggles with his grip on the will to live in the first place, Dave’s own struggle to connect to othersβ€”even his own twin brotherβ€”winds up endangering them both in a world filled with larger, hungrier beasts.

Like the rest of Stellium, this is a psychological horror story. Content warnings include violence, themes of mental illness & suicide, substance abuse, and is intended for audiences 18+.
